the ‘HART’ behind Hart and Herb

I've always found myself drawn to the more natural and holistic lifestyle, however didn't think much of it until I temporarily made the move to the Gold Coast in 2018. This was the first time I had heard of a naturopath, and from there my whole world changed. I took the leap, quit my full-time job, enrolled to study a Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy) with Endeavour College, and have never looked back.

I was still working as a virtual assistant on the side, however it was as an employee and it was in an industry that was so far from who I am and what I love, so again, I took the leap, quit working as a VA for other people, and started my own small business

~ enter, Hart and Herb.

Running my own small business allowed me to be more selective about who I work with, meaning I only work with those clients whose values align with mine, and this has honestly been the biggest game changer for me! But most importantly, it gives me the flexibility to support my beautiful family—my wife and daughter—while still being present and doing work that I truly love.

ABOUT HART and HERB

Hart and Herb was born out of my passion for holistic health and my desire to build a business that reflects who I am. The name "Hart" comes from my own last name, Hartford, and "Herb" represents my love for herbs and natural remedies, a passion that grew during my studies in Health Science, yet started long beforehand.

When I launched Hart and Herb, my goal was to work with clients who share my values and vision, focusing on the health and wellness industry. Now, with a small team of like-minded professionals working alongside me, we support practitioners like naturopaths, nutritionists, health coaches, yoga instructors, and other wellness experts, helping them grow and thrive.

What sets Hart and Herb apart is our insider knowledge of the holistic health and natural medicine fields. We understand the literature, can simplify complex concepts for your audience, and know the type of wording that effectively connects with clients.
