Celeste is the passionate owner of The Birth Store, a dedicated online and Perth-based shop catering to the journey of parenthood from preconception through to postpartum. With a mission to empower individuals and couples, Celeste curates a thoughtful selection of products and services designed to support every stage of the birthing experience.

Through her carefully chosen product range and personalised service, Celeste aims to create a nurturing community where parents-to-be feel informed, prepared, and supported throughout their entire journey into parenthood. Her commitment to empowering birthing individuals reflects in every aspect of The Birth Store's offerings, both online and in its Perth location.

client GOAL

Celeste found it difficult to keep up with her social media and wanted to start a consistent newsletter to share valuable, supportive content for parents and parents-to-be without coming across as salesy. She also felt overwhelmed by managing her inbox and needed a more organised system. Celeste was looking for a strategy that balanced all three areas, helping her streamline her workflow and stay authentic in her communication.

Before Sarah, our email marketing was only utilised when time permitted, and I was able to work on the creative side of the business, it was never something I was able to hand off to someone else because it wasn't something I'd made a plan for, though handing this over to Sarah was such an easy process and in the absence of an official plan, she took ideas of what I wanted, ran with it and we now utilise our email marketing so well and can speak to our customers in another way more frequently. WHAT WE achieved

Together, we developed a more streamlined approach to Celeste’s online presence. We now create 16 posts each month across three platforms, including graphics, captions, hashtags, and scheduling. We also manage engaging Instagram stories and her social media inbox, making it easier for her to connect with her audience. We’ve launched a weekly nurturing newsletter and a fortnightly marketing newsletter, while also staying on top of her inbox organisation for a smoother workflow. Additionally, we’ve written three blogs that speak to Celeste’s ideal customer, to further support her mission of connecting with parents and parents-to-be in a meaningful way.

the IMPACT

“We have had a 15% increase in purchases generated from our email marketing; whilst this is in itself a great increase, the increase in customer satisfaction and the sense of belonging and understanding created by Sarah's emails is so much more significant.

Our email marketing was never meant to be a solely sales-focused tool; it was more about support, understanding, education, and more. Whilst this isn't something we can get a solid metric on, I'm confident we've achieved what we wanted to and more!”

Focusing on valuable insights rather than sales pitches, each newsletter strengthens the bond with the community, offering encouragement and guidance throughout their parenting journey.

BUILDING A community

We post a minimum of 16 times per month to inspire, empower, and educate, building trust and genuine connection. In doing so, we’ve created a beautiful community of followers who naturally convert to loyal customers.
